The Epic E1000 GX cruises at 34,000 feet, above the weather, and lands on the small field next to the beach house, the course or the marina instead of the long one across the county. Starlink Wi-Fi on board. Golf bags in the back. The dog in the cabin.

Epic E1000 GX

Five seats, 333 knots, 34,000 feet and 2,000 feet of runway. Most Atlanta trips, the coast, Florida, Nashville, Charlotte, Washington, the Keys, fit it perfectly, and it lands at the small field nearest where you are actually going.

Inner ring shows 1,350 statute miles from DeKalb-Peachtree — a realistic full-cabin mission with fuel to spare. The outer ring is the Epic’s published maximum range. The Epic flies within the United States; international destinations on the map — the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America — are trips we arrange on a jet through other certificated carriers. Why PDK, not Hartsfield.

DeKalb-Peachtree is the business-aviation airport for the north side of Atlanta. It sits between Buckhead and Brookhaven, minutes from I-85 and GA-400, and there is no TSA line because there is no terminal. You park, you walk to the airplane, you leave.

For most of the trips Atlanta clients actually take, the Georgia and Carolina coast, Florida, Nashville, a day in Charlotte or Washington, the Epic is the right size and the right speed, and it flies out of the airport that is already on your way home.

How much does a private jet cost from Atlanta?
Every trip is quoted individually as one firm, all-in number: route, dates, passengers and bags. Our own Epic E1000 GX is the most economical way to fly private out of Atlanta for up to five passengers; light, midsize and large jets we arrange are quoted the same way. Anchor Card members fly the Epic from $2,200 an hour. There is no membership fee and no minimum to request a quote.
Which Atlanta airport do private jets fly from?
Most private flights use DeKalb-Peachtree (PDK) in Chamblee, twelve minutes from Buckhead. It is our home base. We also fly from Falcon Field in Peachtree City (FFC), Fulton County (FTY), Cobb County (RYY), Gwinnett (LZU), the private-aviation terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL), and the outlying fields: Atlanta Speedway (HMP), Newnan (CCO), Cherokee County (CNI), Paulding (PUJ), Covington (CVC), Cartersville (VPC), Winder (WDR), Gainesville (GVL), Athens (AHN) and Griffin (6A2). We will pick the field nearest your door.
Private plane or private jet, what is the difference?
A private plane in our world means the Epic E1000 GX: a single-engine turboprop that cruises at 333 knots, flies as high as the jets, seats five in a real cabin and lands on 2,000 feet of runway. It is the right airplane for most domestic trips under about 1,500 miles. When the mission calls for more seats, more range, a stand-up cabin or a flight outside the United States, we arrange the right jet through another certificated carrier. You tell us where and when; we tell you exactly what airplane and who operates it.
How far in advance do I need to book a private flight in Atlanta?
Often as little as an hour or two on the Epic, based on crew and aircraft availability. Anchor Card members at 50 hours book on as little as two hours' notice. Arranged jets usually want a little more lead time, especially for holidays and big weekends.
Can I fly private from Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL)?
Yes. ATL has a private-aviation terminal on the south side of the field, away from the airline concourses. It is the right choice when you are connecting off an international arrival or staying at an airport hotel; otherwise PDK or Falcon Field is faster.
Do I need to join a jet card to fly with you?
No. Anyone can book a single trip. The Anchor Card is for people who fly often and want a locked rate, shorter notice and a crew they get to know, and its funds apply to any flight we arrange, not only the Epic.
