Why fly from Atlanta Speedway
The speedway airport is the quickest private departure for Henry County and the south side of I-75 — and on race weekends it is the only sane way in and out. Straightforward field, no airline traffic, and the Epic uses it with room to spare.
The field has a runway of about 5,500 feet beside Atlanta Motor Speedway. You drive to the private terminal, park, and walk to the airplane; there is no security line and no gate. Best for: McDonough, Hampton, Stockbridge, Locust Grove, Griffin, and race-weekend guests of Atlanta Motor Speedway.
