Park Air begins Part 135 charter from Atlanta on the Epic E1000 GX and opens a 25-member Anchor Card founding class
New FAA air carrier based at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport flies its own turboprop, arranges every class of jet, and answers the phone itself.
ATLANTA, September 8, 2026. PARK AIR (PARK AIR LLC), a newly certificated FAA Part 135 on-demand air carrier based at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK), has begun charter operations on the Epic E1000 GX, a single-engine turboprop that cruises at 333 knots at 34,000 feet, carries five passengers 1,560 nautical miles, and lands on about 2,000 feet of runway. The company operates under certificate PRKA774T and is Wyvern Registered.
Park Air flies the Epic under its own certificate with its own crews, maintenance program and operational control, and arranges every other class of aircraft, from very light jets to ultra-long-range jets, through other FAA-certificated carriers, naming the operating carrier before the client confirms. Trips are quoted as one firm number, usually within the hour, and departures on as little as an hour's notice are available based on aircraft availability.
"Most Atlantans know one airport. Private flyers have sixteen," said the company's founder, an Atlanta entrepreneur and pilot who flies the Epic himself. "The airplane we chose lands where the jets cannot: Sea Island, Hilton Head, Highlands, the Panhandle, in under an hour from PDK, twelve minutes from Buckhead. When the trip needs a jet, we arrange the jet and we stay on the phone."
Alongside charter, Park Air has opened the Anchor Card, a jet card limited to a founding class of 25 members admitted by referral. Members buy block hours on the Epic at a fixed hourly rate that does not change for the life of the block, receive first call on the airplane and short-notice booking, and can apply their funds to any flight Park Air arranges, including jets from other carriers. There is no requirement to join: anyone can book one trip at a time.
The company also manages Epic E1000 aircraft for private owners and places owner aircraft on its Part 135 certificate under a revenue share, with the aircraft remaining based where the owner keeps it. A Part 91 management service and a fractional co-ownership program on a PDK-based Pilatus PC-24 are run from the same base.
Park Air serves sixteen metro Atlanta airports including DeKalb-Peachtree (PDK), Falcon Field (FFC), Hartsfield-Jackson's private terminal (ATL), Fulton County (FTY), Cobb County (RYY) and Gwinnett (LZU), and is available around the clock at +1 (404) 999-2031 and fly@parkaircharter.com.
